“Getting the youth back to our Lord Jesus is what I’ve centred my ministry on…..”
Pastor Jamin Debra, is one loved and fast rising pastor in Ghana, Accra to be precise whose main focus is to draw back the youth to their first love(Christ Jesus). His love for the Kingdom has been seen through his consistency in making the name of Jesus be first in the lives of the youth.
Pastor Jamin is from a family of 4(two males and two females) and he is the last born. He is from a Christian oriented family and that is where the zeal for the Kingdom business originated. His father is late but his mother who is a pillar in his ministry has not in a way given up on him for taking up the pastoral mantle. He says,
“My dad is late but my mum who is my pillar is solidly behind me…”
He attended Dzorwulu Junior High School(Dzusec) and furthered on to Presbyterian Senior High School in Osu and then to Ghana Technology Universty College for tertiary to major in Information Technology(IT). He has lived in Accra all his life and that is where he has rooted his ministry.
Pastor Jamin Debra has been in ministry since the age of 8 and has since loved leading the congregation to the throne of God through worship. He got officially ordained as a pastor on 3rd of December 2016. In as much as he loves the work of God, he is not into full time ministry yet but still devotes himself fully in proclaiming Christ. He is a Graphic Designer by profession.
Pastor Jamin Debra is the lead pastor of The Name Jesus prayer ministry which has seen a large number of the youth participating fully. His aim is all centred on getting the youth back to Jesus. The Name Jesus prayer ministry has held a number of meetings which has featured big time ministers like Apostle Pascal Amanfo, his elder brother Apostle Bright Debra Jnr, Prophet Dr David Kyei(Kaywa), Rev. Dr. Abbeam Danso and a host of worshippers as well.
The Name Jesus Prayer ministry has had programs dubbed structured grace, Exchange Allnight, The Imprint of the Glory, the Rebirth and other programs.
Pastor Jamin Debra is a man called into ministry and has been selected and ordained to be a shepherd in the Lord’s vineyard. As a singer and a pastor, he believes and trusts the assignment he has been entrusted with and for that matter, he is working towards attaining that for Christ alone.
